Marvin Wray, Interim Lead Pastor

Pastor Marvin Wray has 50 years of pastoral experience including churches on both coasts, the Midwest, and six years in Hong Kong.

Pr. Wray has joined the Beltsville SDA Church as Interim Lead Pastor and he will serve in this interim position until a new Lead Pastor is installed. He and his wife, Ingrid, look forward to sharing the love of Christ and joining the BSDA campuses in our mission of connecting people with God, with each other, and with the community.

Krysten Thomas, Children & Youth Pastor

Andrews University - MDiv
University of Central Florida - B.S. in Computer Science
Krysten Thomas loves Jesus, building relationships, and mentoring children and youth. She was born in Jamaica and grew up in Florida. While her previous career is in technology, Krysten loves finding unique ways to combine her tech skills with her love for ministry. Her passion is to help people see that God loves them and is calling them to be disciples.

Pr. Thomas has accepted the call to serve as Children’s/Youth Pastor here at Beltsville SDA Church. She joins the pastoral staff in the summer of 2022.

DEBORAH HOWELL, TECH ROAD CAMPUS PASTOR (Interim)

Pastor Debbie has been involved in ministry at multiple churches for the past 24 years. She is currently working on her Masters in Pastoral Ministries through Andrews University. Her greatest passion is to help people grow a beautiful relationship with God through worship, through His Word, and through prayer. 

 

Sifa Potauaine, Ammendale Rd. Pastor

Oakwood University - BA in Theology

Sifa Potauaine is our campus pastor at Ammendale Rd. and he oversees the Beltsville Adventist Community Center (BACC). His passion is in evangelism, church planting, and helping people realize and put to use their spiritual gifts. Sifa loves most sports but these days golf, fantasy football are close seconds and he and his wife Alisi especially enjoy long walks and traveling.

Joanne Cortes, DC Campus Pastor

Joanne has had a passion for ministry and a heart for people ever since she was a child. She loves empowering individuals to be all God calls them to be. Her desire is to lead others to believe boldly, love compassionately, and live wholeheartedly while trusting God completely along life’s journey. For over 20 years she has ministered actively with her husband, Jose in youth ministries, church planting, and church leadership. She is a proud parent of Jose III and Joel Benjamin.

 

 

Debbie Howell, Online Campus Pastor

Pastor Debbie has been involved in ministry at multiple churches for the past 24 years. She is currently working on her Masters in Pastoral Ministries through Andrews University. Her greatest passion is to help people grow a beautiful relationship with God through worship, through His Word, and through prayer.
